Farmhouse, now subdivided into two. C18, altered. Coursed rubblestone,
slate roofs. 5 bays, 2 storey plus dormers, with 2 rear wings at
right angles, both of two storeys and late C18 or early C19. South
east front has central entry with 6 panel door, rectangular fanlight
and panelled reveals. Modern porch. Sash windows with keyblocks to
stone flat arched heads. On ground floor;windows one and 4 blocked;
on 1st floor:windows 2 and 4 blocked. 3 dormers with segmental heads.
Brick stacks to gables and between bays 3 and 4. North west wing has
ground floor tripartite sash. Remainder of north east gable and the
two wings have sash windows and stacks. To south west gable of main
block is french door with margin panes. Britannia fire insurance
plaque on right hand gable.
