(Nethercote) and No 4

Row of 6 houses, now 4. Mid C18th. Rubble; pantile roof to Nos. 1 and 2,
hipped at west end; double Roman tiled roof to Nos. 3 and 4. Right part of
No. 3 and No. 4 stand forward of rest of row. 2 storeys. Formerly 2 windows
and door per house; except No. 1, formerly of 5 bays but now 7 (2 glazing sash
window extension to left), 2- and 3-light casements on ground floor. Other
houses: 2-light casements with edge-roll moulded mullion and surrounds (No. 3
has C20th casements). Mixture of plank, panelled and C20th doors; Nos. 1 and
2 under flat stone hood on brackets.
