3/127 Gazebo about 150 metres south west
of the Manor House

Gazebo. c.1780. Sandstone rubble, formerly rendered, brick repair work, roof
missing. Gothick style. Small single storey square building, entrance front
has pointed arched central opening with blind pointed arched light to each side
with trompe l'oeil Gothick glazing bars, blind oval above door and cross loop to
each side, embattled parapet. Remaining 3 sides have pointed arched openings
and cross loops as front. Interior: flue in corner, some plain plaster
moulding remaining around window openings; very overgrown with ivy at time of
survey (March 1985).
