4/156 Well, cover and pump about
4 metres east of Holly Tree
Farmhouse

Well, cover and pump. C18, cover dated DT 1776, C19 pump. Limestone rubble,
sandstone, cast iron. Square sandstone cover about 1½ metres by 1½ metres,
with central circular hole and rectangular hole at each side for fixing former
pump, set on low rubble plinth. Cast iron pump with spout and handle complete,
set on 2 planks over central hole in well cover, over circular shaft.
