C17 or early C18 house. Coursed limestone rubble, partly rendered to S.E.
elevation and colourwashed N.W. elevation. Thatched roof. Two storeys. T-
plan with cross wing at N.E. end. Asymmetrically placed windows in a variety
of styles and sizes in all elevations. N.W. elevation has early window with
glazing bars to first floor of cross wing. N.E. and S.E. elevations of wing
also have interesting first floor windows with pointed Gothic arches, glazing
bars to casements and leading to apex of arch. Entrance to S.E. elevation
with C20 gabled porch. One storey C19 extension to S.W. end. Colourwashed
brick with slate roof.
