TL 15NW STAPLOE AND DULOE HONEYDON

5/168 Chestnuts Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C16 and C17, with C20 reworking. Colour washed rough cast over
some substantial timber framing. Clay tile roof. 4-bay plan, one storey and
attics, central timbering suggesting that the building originally contained an
open hall. C20 casements throughout, box dormers, gabled porch to S
elevation. Substantial 3-stage external stack to E gable end, with coursed
limestone rubble to lower stage, red brick above. Red brick external stack to
W gable end.
