Wealden hall house, now 2 houses. C16. Timber framed and exposed
close-studding with plaster infill to left, brick nogging to
centre, painted brick infill and tile hung to right. Plain tiled
roof. Three and a half framed bays. Two storeys, jettied to let
and right on dragon posts and brackets, with flying wall plate on
arched braces over central 1½ bay hall. Hipped roof with stacks
to centre, and projecting end left and end right. Two wood casements
and central oriel on brackets to first floor, 2 leaded casements to
left and central with tiled hood; 2 wood casements to right. Boarded
door in four centred arched surround in right end bay. Catslide
outshot to rear.
