Row of 3 houses, formerly part of a cottage industry complex; c.1800 with C20
alterations. Limestone rubble front and brick rear; pantiled roof and rendered
chimneys. Each house of 2 storeys, 3 bays with late C20 central door; replaced
sashes and casements under old brick flat arches, partly concealed by late C20
concrete window surrounds. Roof, hipped to right, has 3 ridge chimneys. One-
storey, 3-bay wing, attached to rear of No. 5, has replaced fenestration. Other
rear wings not of special interest. No. 2, Dene Croft and No. 5, forming the
right section of a tripartite symmetrical composition, are lower and break back
from the central group of 3 houses and are included for group value.
