Bridge over River
Piddle

Road bridge over River Piddle. Probably C18. Ashlar stone structure. Six
semi-circular stone arches with pendant keystones, divided by projecting stone
cutwaters, carried up to form refuges in the parapets. At each end of the bridge
the parapets curve outwards, and are stopped by square piers.
