- II
Public House. Probably late C18. Walls part brick, part rubble stone,
part plastered cob, - all colourwashed. Thatched roof; brick stacks
on ridge. Part-glazed door. Ground floor has 2 casement windows
with glazing bars. Attic has 3 dormers with double-hung sashes with
glazing bars. At south-west end a brick extension, - probably
former stable, has loft door in attic. At north-east end, a C19
extension of stone, with stone slate roof, has a part-glazed door.
Lean-to-extension at rear under thatched catslide roof.
