SY 97 NE LANGTON MATRAVERS PRIESTS' WAY

4/48 Spyway Barn

Isolated down barn. Probably early C19. Rubble stone walls, ½-hipped stone
slate roof. On south side, 2 lean-to extensions and a later one with
corrugated iron roof. Cart entrance in older lean-to. Large window with
ashlar quoins. On north side, 2 lean-to extensions with corrugated iron
roofs and large hipped cart-porch. Interior of 4 bays with tie and collar-beam
roof. RCHM Monument 27. (Dorset Vol. II).
