Probably C17 origin, altered and extended C20. Brick walls, colourwashed,
Thatched roof, brick stacks. One storey and attics. L-shaped plan. Main wing
at right angles to road. Lower wing along road (probably former outbuildings)
now part of inn. Main wing extended to rear in brick and tile. Also large
flat roofed addition at rear. Single storey extension to north, weather-
boarded with asbestos slate roof. Ground floor has modern doors and casement
windows. Attic has eyebrow dormers with casements. Interior altered but retains
some chamfered ceiling beams.
