2/85 Drive End Cottage
II
Detached cottage. Later C19. Rubble-stone walls and stone dressings. Slate
roofs with stone gable-copings. C20 brick stack at right hand gable. 1 1/2
storeys. 2 windows, 2- and 3-light stone mullions, with cast-iron casements
having a lozenge-pattern of glazing-bars. Separate labels over. Two gabled
dormers, with stone gable-copings and moulded kneelers. Two-light cast-iron
casements. Front door at centre, with stone jambs and stone label over. Plank
door with ornamental strap-hinges, C19. Outhouse at west end, rubble-stone
walls and gabled slate roof. Plank door with wood framing.
