2 cottages. Probably mid C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble stacks
topped with C19 brick; thatched roof. Pair of contemporary 2-room plan cottages
facing south with mirror plans either side of party wall comprising small unheated
middle rooms and larger outer rooms each heated by stacks projecting from the gable
ends, both with oven projections. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 4-window front of
identical late C19-early C20 3-light casements with glazing bars. Each cottage has 2
windows with central door under hipped thatch-roofed hood. Plain carpentry detail
inside with internal crosswalls of plain framing exposed in places.
