Cottage. C18 origins, renovated and extended in the C20. Colourwashed rendered cob
and stone, the centre block with a thatched roof, gabled at right end, half-hipped at
left end; outer blocks with concrete tile roofs; main block with left end and axial
stacks.
Plan: The main block is a single depth 2 room plan arrangement; a former cider house
at the right end has been incorporated into the house and a C20 single storey block
has been added at the left end.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front to main block with front door to
left of centre. 2-light casements reglazed in the late C20 except 1 first floor C18
2-light casement with square leaded panes.
Interior: Exposed cross beam and open fireplace to right hand room; interior
modernised.
Group value with Templeton Bridge and the Nest.
