Dated 1908 on rainwater heads. Architect Horace Field. Neo Georgian back in ashlar
and roughcast. Slate hipped roof with heavy modillion eaves cornice which breaks
forward at centre 3 bays with large pediment. Three storeys. 1:3:1 bays. Advanced
centre 3 bays and ground floor in ashlar. Left and right first and second storeys
roughcast with quoins. Sash windows with glazing bars in moulded stone architraves
with moulded cills first floor with keyblocks. Band at first floor level. Centre
ground floor window has open segmental pediment on console brackets with large
cartouche in round-headed niche in the storey above. Right hand moulded round-arched
entrance doorway with keyblock and moulded
Right hand return to Market Street 8 bays ; left and right under segmental
pediments.
