19.10.1988 II


House, formerly a lodge to Annery House (demolished). c. 1840.
Squared and coursed limestone with rusticated stucco quoins,
storey band and architraves. Hipped slate roof; stone ashlar end
stacks. 2-unit central-staircase plan. 2-storeys; symmetrical
2-window range. Mid C19 six-panelled (2 glazed) door set in
moulded semi-circular arched doorway with moulded pilasters.
Twelve-pane sashes flanking door are set in plain stuccoed
architraves with moulded cornices; first-floor 9-pane sashes set
in similar segmental-headed architraves; wood modillioned eaves.
Interior not inspected.
