Wellhouse and adjoining pound. C18 or early C19. Granite moorstone with dressed
granite to portal of wellhouse.
Plan: irregular shaped walled pound with possibly later rectangular wellhouse at the
lower side.
Exterior: The small wellhouse has a large doorway in front of a chamber roofed with
granite lintels.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of
Cornwall.
