Farmhouse and adjoining cottage. Circa early C19, extended in later C19. Roughly
coursed stone rubble extended with stone rubble. Rag slate roof with gable ends and
brick end stacks, extended with later C19 range also with rag slate roof and brick
end stack.
Plan: Two room and central entrance plan, heated by end stacks. Extended to left in
circa mid C19 with one-room plan cottage with entrance to right and room on left
heated by end stack.
Exterior: Two storeys. 1:2 window front. Earlier range on right has dressed stone
flat arches to openings amd C19 panelled door flanked by C19 16-pane sash on left and
C20 16-pane sash on right. Two hornless C19 16-pane sashes on first floor. To left,
the cottage has brick flat arches to the openings with a 3 over 6-pane sash on ground
floor, door to right and 3 over 6-pane horned sash on first floor.
Interior: Not inspected.
One of 3 similar cottages (q.v. West Park and Cottage 150 metres to north of West
Park) on west side of an unspoilt and picturesque valley.
