SX28SE Milestone at NGR 276832, about
1/7 600 metres north east of
Trevosper
II
Milestone. Probably late C18. White-painted small granite monolith rectangular
on plan with rounded head. Letter L (for Launceston) carved on front with
figure 4 below. Later bench mark carved on top.
Roads leading to Launceston were built under Turnpike Act of 1760.
