Row of 5 cottages, now 4 dwellings. Probably late C18; altered. Uncoursed
killas rubble with granite dressings, large quoins to No.5, slate roof.
Rectangular plan formed by the addition of two pairs of single-depth
single-fronted units to the right of an earlier building. Two low storeys;
Nos.l and 2, and Nos.3 and 4, are pairs with coupled doorways flanked by
small 4-pane sashed windows, (doorway of No.2 altered as window), the large
rectangular lintels forming a row in each pair; and similar small windows
at 1st floor. No.5, of 2-bay width, has a doorway to the left, a small 4-
pane sashed window to the right, and a similar window above offset to the
left, all these openings with large quoins and those at ground floor with
large lintels. Two chimney stacks on the ridge. Rear altered, with various
modern additions.
