Guide post. Circa early C19. Cast-iron. Doric column with 3 adjustable rectangular pointers with rounded corners; surmounted by spearhead over ball finial. Each pointer has moulded collar rings and border, and within each border: 2 place names and distances, in miles from the guide post, in embossed lettering.
This guide post is one of the few complete examples of this type left in this part of Cornwall and is in a prominent position in the village square which has a high proportion of its buildings listed.
