of Church of Saint Mylor

Chest tomb. Early C19. For the children of Thomas C. Barron R.N. of H.M. Packet
Service and of Julia his wife. Dressed white limestone. Square-on-plan tall
classical style chest over square platform. Chest has chamfered base, plinth wide fielded 'dado' panels with concave corners, ovolo 'chair-rail'moulding above and taller bolection moulded panels over; corner pilasters with horizontal flutes,moulded cornice and plain square lid.
The children listed on the incised east panel are:
Fanny Sophia, died 1821 aged 14
Eliz Suzanna, died 1823 aged 27)
Emma Alice, died 1823 aged 27 ) (Probably twins)
and Eliz Goinnavero, died 1827 aged 19.
