House and adjoining cottage. Probably C18. Rendered rubble and rendered cob (upper
floor to front of house). Timber lintels. Steep asbestos slate roof, probably
originally thatched. Brick chimneys over the gable ends and over the cross party
wall towards the right.
Plan: Possibly double depth (rear not inspected). House (left) has 2 rooms at the
front flanking an entrance lobby or cross passage. Cottage (right) has 1 room at the
front and entrance lobby on its left.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 3-window front with house (Greenbank), on the left and
cottage, on the right. House has symmetrical 2-window front with central doorway.
Old ledged door. Cottage has 1-window front with doorway on the left. C20 door.
All the windows are circa early C19 16-pane hornless. sashes.
Interior: Not inspected.
