Pumping beam engine house (disused). Circa mid C19. Killas rubble walls. Brick
arches over 2 of the openings, timber lintels over the other openings.
Plan: Rectangular plan engine house. No surviving machinery. Shell of building has
walls to full height.
Exterior: 3 storeys. Unaltered elevations. Front north-west bob wall has central
round-arched doorway. Rear wall has wide round arched cylinder doorway and 2 small
openings above. Side walls have irregularly disposed openings spanned by wooden
lintels.
Part of Blue Hills nine.
