Late C18 building. Red brick facade of 3-storeys, 4 window range with parapet
and dentil brick cornice. Sash windows on the 1st and 2nd floors in concealed
boxes beneath curved brick heads. Modern shop fronts inserted on the ground
floor. Roofs: hipped and gambrelled on the northern 2 bays, and ridged and
gabled on the southern 2 bays, all peg-ti1ed. Two flat topped dormers behind
the parapet at the north end. One chimney stack placed centrally on the plan,
which is rectangular.
