TL 51 SE AYTHORPE RODING KEERES GREEN

5/9 KEERES FARMHOUSE


GV II

Lobby-entrance house, early C17, extended in C19. Timber-framed, plastered
and weatherboarded, tiled roof. 4 bays aligned NW-SE, including chimney bay
with lobby-entrance. Axial chimney stack. 2 storey extension to rear of NW
bay, lean-to extension behind remainder, C19. 2 storeys. 3-window range of
C20 casements, gabled and tiled porch, C19. Stop-chamfered beams. Interior
structure fully plastered. There are some indications that the walls have
been raised. Clasped purlin roof. RCHM 10.
