House, mid C15 with late C16 additions.
2-storey timber-framed and plastered trill house with 2 cross-wings. Front four
window range, small paned sashes, hall section parapeted, cross-wings gabled.
Roof clay tiles with red brick stacks at each end of hall. North end with large
C18 single-storey angled bay with hipped tiled roof and gabled porch. East
cross-wingt extended to west in C16 and later tiled and slated. Lean-to added with
white weatherboard walls. South-face with catslide tile and slate roofs, two inset
dormers. C16 stair tower and upper walls white weatherboarded.

Internally: Crown post roofs in both cross-wings. Hall roof raised in C16 when
stair tower was added, now side purlin roof, much re-used timber. C16 extention
to east wing with Queen Post root and wind bracing. Original stair in stair tower.
