Cottage, mid C17 cased in brick probably C19. Painted brick, largely
in stretcher bond; grey slate roof. 1 storey plus attic; 2 windows.
Door of 4 broad boards adze-finished on inner face. One 6-pane and
one 4-pane window to lower storey; 1 gabled dormer to attic; a
casement of 3 panes to lower storey and 2 panes to upper storey in
right gable-end; plinthed flush chimney on each gable; rear wing flush
with right gable-end.
Interior: Pair of damaged full crucks against right gable; a similar
pair, one truncated, right of doorway; some oak beams; some
broad-board doors; HL- and blacksmith-made strap hinges.
