5/17 Holly Cottage.

GV II

Cottage: early C17 with C19 alterations. Timber-framed with brick
nogging on stone base, brick repairs and extensions. Corrugated iron
roof and 1 gable brick chimney. Probably 2-room baffle entry
originally. 1-storey and attic 1-bay gabled front. 6 by 3 regular
small frames with passing braces. 2-light wooden casements. Truss of
tiebeam and collar with vertical struts between and 2 diagonal struts
above. Door in extension in left hand side. Complete timber framing
on right hand side, brick elsewhere.
Interior: not inspected.
