Planned terrace of houses, No.12 (right), a former public house. Early C19. Stucco except for Nos.16 and 22 which have been roughcast; dry slate and asbestos slate roofs with hipped ends and projecting front eaves; brick end stacks.

Double-depth plan, most arranged as mirror-image pairs with paired central entrance halls. Two storeys, except for No.12 (right) which is three storeys; each house a two-window range. Some original hornless sashes with glazing bars, some with glazing bars removed, otherwise later horned sashes and a few late C20 windows. Ground-floor windows are within large segmental-arched recessed panels; first-floor sill string above. Pilastered doorways with moulded entablature and panelled reveals; panelled doors where original. No.12 has sashes with glazing bars to upper floors and moulded parapet cornice. Ground floor has three-bay pilastered corner shop with moulded entablature.

INTERIOR: not inspected.

Good example of early C19 terrace and in good group.
