House now two dwellings. Shop to left hand end bay. Late C17-early C18,
extended at rear early C19. Timber framed, rendered with tiled, half hipped
roof and red brick ridge stock set at right angles to the ridge. Three bay
and lobby entry plan. Two storeys. Three casements. Doorway in original
location opposite the stack with early C19 hood on cut brackets. The door is
C20. Rear extension, of lean-to type. Possibly clay bat with slate roof.
Inside: straight bracing to wall framing of regular and fairly substantial
scantling. Red brick inglenook fireplace to centre room and abutting
Victorian fireplace to right hand flanked by early C19 cupboards. The end
bay to the left hand, originally presumably for storage, has a cellar.
