Mid C19. 3 storeys. Painted brick Slate roof. 2 brick piers at eaves support
ball finials. Cornice on or Lions' mask consoles. On 2nd floor, 2 windows, flat
arches, double hung sashes with glazing bars flank a segmental headed niche supported
on 2 consoles, containing a bust of Nelson. Keystone to head which has 'Nelson
House' carved on it. Plain heavy cornice above the1st floor on 4 carved consoles
supports an iron guard. 3 windows to 1st floor. Modern ground floor shop front.
