1874, by Fawcett. Stone facing. 3 storeys. 3 light windows. The building
contains a good early Renaissance doorway of stone from the Perse School
circa 1600. The South wing is of 1896, the North wing of 1908, both also
by Fawcett. Of great historical importance, the atom was first split here
by Lord Rutherford in 1929.
