C17, perhaps containing parts of earlier date; 2 storeys with attics; part
brick; part timber-framed and plastered; irregularly planned house said
to contain a fragment of the old Priory; tiled roof. On front of house,
one brick shaped gable dated 1678, with bands between storeys and two brick
chimney stacks with grouped rectangular shafts. Several panelled rooms
and bolection-moulded fireplace surrounds. (RCHM 270)
