2 houses. One C16 bay with C17 range across N.E. end and early C19
block at S.W. end. C17 range is timber framed with whitewashed brick
infill, the ground floor and left gable rebuilt in brick. Old tile
roof, flanking brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 3 bays. 2 and 3-light
barred wooden casements, 4 to each floor. Doors between bays. C20
whitewashed brick and half-timbered projection to right. Early C19
block is rendered and colourwashed with slate roof. 2 storeys,
3 bays. 4-pane sash windows flanking central 3-pane; central C20 door.
C16 bay has front rebuilt in brick with C20 wooden casements and
door. Timber-framed rear wall with jettied first floor is hidden
bv later extension. Interior has some exposed framing. wood ston-
chamfered snine beam and joists, queen strut trusses and curved
wind-braces.
