C17, altered and enlarged C18. Public House on letter L-plan. Old tile roofs.
South range at right angles to road. Two storeys, 3 bays. Red brick, dentil
eaves. Tile hung gable with bay window. Casements and 2 doorways with open gabled
tile-roofed hoods. East range of 1 1/2 storeys and 2 bays. Grey and red brick, dentil
eaves. Leaded casements, door, and 2 eaves breaking 2-light gabled dormers.
Continues north as tile-roofed one storey outbuilding. Interior has chamfered and
stopped spine beams. Stack between ranges and to left of south range with weathered
offsets.
