Early C19 stucco faced row. Premises occupied by Briggs of 2 storeys,
the others 3 storeys. Briggs has 2 casements in splayed reveals, the
front flanked by incised panelled pilasters cut off by insertion of modern
shop front. Other fronts of 1 window each to upper flows, sashes glaz-
ing bars intact in wide architrave frames. Paired C19 shop fronts under
cammon frieze and cornice, 21ight windows, glazed doors, Davies's has
fanlight of ogee headed panes. Low pitch gable end slate roofs. Davies is
(the Binocular Shop) has a frontage on Old Fore Street: small stucco front
gabled with very small 3-light casement and on ground floor, shop with
panelled pilasters flanking door and window, frieze and cornice over.
