House. Circa 1840-50 (post Tithe Map). Stucco walls. Gable ended slate roof. 2
rendered brick gable end stacks.
Double depth plan with 2 principal heated front rooms, one either side of central
entrance hall which leads to narrow stairwell then through to back door. Service
rooms at rear.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front of original 12-pane hornless sashes. Central
contemporary 6-panelled door with rectangular fanlight and flat doorhood with simple
moulded cornice supported on heavy Doric columns.
Interior has original open well staircase with turned newels, stick balusters and
curtail step.
To include probably contemporary stable and linhay attached at left end. Stable
immediately adjoining has Gothic pointed doorway at either end on front wall.
Granary above approached by stone steps on rear courtyard side. Open fronted linhay
attached at right-angles to stable at rear.
