Springwell Cottage

House. Late C18, extended C19. Coursed rubble gritstone with quoins, plain gables,
intermediate and end ridge stacks, concrete tiled roof. Two storeys, four bays,
that to south east end an addition. 2-light flush mullioned windows with C20
casements. Central doorway with massive jambs and lintel, beneath a shallow
bracketed hood. C20 glazed door. Some stone surrounds to window openings have
been restored and the two windows adjacent to the doorway appear to be insertions.
