House, formerly two cottages. C18 and C19. Coursed squared
rubble coal measures sandstone, the part to the west roughcast,
and lined out in smooth render with plain eaves, gable and ridge
brick stacks, and a Welsh slated roof, the west part with a
stone slated eaves and a rendered coped gable. Two storeys,
five bays, the two western bays lower and earlier. Taller part
with glazing bar sashes in plain surrounds, central doorway with
C19 half glazed pitch roofed porch, and a panelled door with the
upper two panels glazed. Lower range with glazing bar sash to
ground floor east side and 2-light flush mullioned windows to
the west side to ground and first floors with glazing bar
casements set in painted flush surrounds. Central doorway with
massive surround, and a two-panelled door.
