Grammar School now 2 houses. Dated 1815 with inscription flanking central
window BUILT BY SUBSCRIPTION and AUT DISCE AUT DISCEDE. Coursed red sandstone
with raised painted V-jointed quoins; graduated hipped greenslate roof, C20
brick chimney stacks. Single storey, 5 bays. C20 casement windows with glazing
bare in plain painted stone surrounds. C20 entrance porches at sides are
not of interest
