Barn. C16 or C17. Stone rubble with slate roof. 4-bay barn with cruck
trusses. North-west gable end to lane has entrance and 4-light wood
chamfered-mullioned window with 2 intermediate bars. Small holes over, possibly
for pigeons. North-east side has barn entrance, now gated, with 2-light wood
chamfered-mullioned window with intermediate bars to left. South-west side has
blocked winnowing door with opening to right. Rear built into hillside has
opening. Interior has 2 cruck trusses, one is raised cruck on stone pier and
wood post with tie beam and windbraces; 2nd has tie beam, collar and
windbraces. Tie beam with curved principal rafters, collar and windbrace.
