Farmhouse. Datestone inscribed: "AS 1627/JOHN SWAINSON 1730/REBUILT TCCE
1901". Roughcast stone with slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with attached
one-storey, 2-bay wing to south-east. Dripcourses to ground floor windows, that
to 1st bay has fire window to left; windows have casements. Entrance has slate
slab porch with datestone above door. Gable-end stacks. Wing has 2 buttresses
to west and window to south. Rear has gabled wing with slate dripcourses and
lean-to porch in angle. Included for group value.
