TL 90 SE DENGIE ASHELDHAM ROAD

5/87 Barn approx. 90 metres
north east of Dengie
Manor

GV II

Barn. C18. Red brick, hipped red tiled roof. 2 storeys. Cornice band. A
large barn, east face, ground floor central pilaster buttresses, with brick
segmental arch between, now with C20 lintel and support columns, to right 3
square window openings, to left 3 C20 sliding doors, that to far left with
original brick segmental arch over. Double loft door to left with brick
segmental arch to right of which is an original 3 light window with brick
segmental arch. To all faces are 2 upper stages of symmetrically placed 4 light
vertical ventilators. Side purlin roof, pegged at ridge.
