TL 51 SW SHEERING THE STREET,
(South Side)
3/9 Little Thatches

GV II

Cottage, C18, extended in C20. Timber-framed plastered, roof thatched. 2 bays
aligned approx. N-S with stacks at S end and rear N end of E side. Lean-to
extension at N end of W side. Single storey with attics. Roof half-hipped
both ends. N elevation facing street, one C20 casement window on each floor.
Framing exposed internally. Primary straight bracing. Clasped purlin roof.
Whole building raised on new foundations c.1970.
