TL 72 NW SHALFORD JASPER'S GREEN

3/67 King's Croft

GV II

House. C18, altered in C20. Timber framed, plastered and weatherboarded, roof
thatched. 4 bays facing SE, with internal stack one bay from left end against
front wall. C20 crosswing at right end, forming a T-plan. One storey with
attics. 3 C19/C20 casements, and 2 more in eyebrow dormers. Weatherboarded
dado, plastered above. Gambrel roof, half-hipped at left end. SW elevation
(left return, towards road), one C19 horizontally sliding sash of 4 lights, one
C20 casement above. 2 transverse beams project through the rear wall. The
interior has exposed studding with primary straight bracing, lower rafters
partly exposed, large wood-burning hearth facing to right.
