GV II

A row of 8 cottages. C18 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed
with brick and flint facing. Red plain tiled roof, 8 gabled dormers with mainly
C20 four light small paned casements. 4 red brick chimney stacks. 1 storey
and attics. 11 window range of mainly small paned casements. 8 C20 part glazed
doors. A plaque reads; Essex County Council. Reconditioned under the
provisions of the Housing Rural Workers Act 1926. Included for group value with
the Church and Village.
