House, altered to 5 cottages, now reduced to 2. C17, altered in C19 and C20.
Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched. 4 bays facing SE, with central stack
and external stack at right end. C19 rear extension at left end, with end
stack. C20 rear extensions. One storey with attics. 4-window range of C20
casements, the upper windows in slated swept dormers. Plain boarded door (no.
1). 6-panel door, the top panels glazed (no. 3). No. 1 comprises the left bay,
and extension to rear. Nos. 2, 3 and 4 comprising the remainder, have been
combined to form one house, now no. 3. The central stack has 2 large wood-
burning hearths, the right hearth rebuilt. Longitudinal joists of horizontal
section in bay to left of it. Rafters mainly original. Listed for Group Value.
