A late C18 - early C19 timber-framed and plastered house. 2 storeys, attics
and cellars. 3 window range on the east front and 2 window range on the south
front, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in flush cased frames. The attics
are lit by small windows in the gables. A central doorway has a wood Doric
doorcase with fluted pilasters, triglyph frieze and a cornice. The door is
approached by stone steps. Roofs tiled, double-pitched.

All the listed buildings from No 24 to No 56A on the east side
form a group with No 37 to No 89 (with Nos 57, 61, 61A) on the west side.
